The CVCYC is happy to introduce a structured and purposeful after school program that gives your children a comprehensive experience. Directed by Tularcitos Elementary School's P.E. Teacher, Mr.A, the program is focused on maximizing activity and building positive learning experiences. Students will be walked down from school to the community center every day at 3pm and will have homework help from our teachers and highschoolers while enjoying a healthy snack. There will then be a rotating schedule where students will have the opportunity to learn from our wide range of specialists. Students will be able to swim, cook, bake, garden, yoga, martial arts, STEM activities, arts & crafts, disc golf, and so much more! By constantly giving our students new opportunities to learn and grow, there will never be a dull moment, and they will look forward to their time spent in our program! The program runs from 3pm to 6pm every day that school is in session. We hope that you decide to join us in making this an amazing program here in the Village!
CVCYC is happy to present two weeks of Summer Activities that will be right here in the Village!
The structure of the program is centered around the belief that a summer program can be purposeful. Not only will each game or activity be fun, but there will be an objective on how each game either builds a student's psychomotor, cognitive, or affective domain of learning. The themes for both weeks will be released as we get closer to summer, but the activities throughout the week will be connected by a central idea. We know that you have many options for summer programs in Monterey County, but here is what we believe makes ours special:
Healthy snacks (lunch is not provided)
Structured and organized games focused on motor development and movement concepts
Developing and maintaining life skills, such as swimming
Connecting families and building relationships in Carmel Valley
Well trained staff with years of experience working with students
Academic material woven into activity times to increase cognitive retention
A belief that a two-week summer program can create a positive impact on the development of a child
Thank you for considering what is going to be an amazing summer program. We hope that you sign up for your kid(s) for one or both weeks!
