About Us

Carmel Valley Community Youth Center is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) youth organization managed by an all-volunteer Board of Directors and generous volunteers. We are located in beautiful Carmel Valley Village, California.

The CVCYC Board of Directors manages the following facilities within our 2 acre grounds:

  • Pool
  • Hall, Patio & Built In BBQ
  • Parking Lot
  • Playground

Interested In Joining our Board? 

Currently, our Board is accepting applications for several new members for our Board of Directors. Board members are required to attend one monthly meeting and participate in at least one of our committees. Come help our community grow!

History

 

  • 1952 CVCYC founded, as private non-profit organization to provide a meeting and social hall for non-denominational community youth use.

  • 1954 Hall building built.

  • 1964 Constructed CVCYC Public Pool and established aquatics and water safety program.

  • 1980 Acquired, developed and operated first CV Park grounds

  • 1985 Outdoor stage built for free live entertainment

  • 1985 CV Recreation & Park District formed to assume operations of CV Park and land acquisition

  • 2000 Reconstructed pool house and added restaurant facility

  • 2013 New Built in BBQ on Hall Patio

  • 2020 Solar Panels added to main hall.
